However, the members did not have a working knowledge of the functions of the Holy Spirit in preaching and sermon listening. The praxis director initiated this praxis in an effort to increase the members' awareness of the functions of the Holy Spirit in preaching and sermon listening, and the benefits gained from understanding and articulating those functions.
