The congregation of Spring Valley Baptist Church had indicated a polarization as to its shape of blended worship.  Its Church Council was used to bring about unity as to its shape of blended worship.  The Bible, history, and ministry context were used as foundations for discovery.  Consensus building was used as the methodology.  Robert Webber's Twenty Principles validated the outcome as truly blended worship.  The Church Council came to consensus as to what should be, could be, and should not be used in blended worship. A worship planning committee was enlisted and trained to provide diverse worship services.  A questionnaire was developed to measure the congregational attitudes toward particular elements of worship. The conclusion included insights about present styles of worship prominent among Baptist churches. They were identified as the praise and worship, the liturgical, the traditional, the revivalist, and the seeker service.
