The project director utilized an equipping model in order to accomplish the goals for this project. The first phase of implementation for this project was to research the fields of missional worship and postmodern culture for the purpose of developing annotated bibliographies in those fields to be used as research standards. The second phase of the project was to develop a workshop curriculum for the equipping of a worship design team to address cultural and missional issues related to worship. In the third phase the project director taught the curriculum in a weekend workshop to a multigenerational group of participants in the worship ministry, including members of the worship band, praise teams, choir, and audio-visual team. Specifically, the author implemented, observed, and evaluated the impact of introducing the worship arts (dance, drama, music, visual and media art) into the corporate worship experience. Ultimately, the author concluded that the introduction of the worship arts into the corporate worship experience has reinvigorated the worship spirit of the congregation and heightened the congregation's receptivity to change. Once completed, the project director selected and led a strategy development team to enhance the corporate worship of First Baptist Church through a series of teaching sessions. The project director instructed the team on the Principles of Authentic Worship, Roadblocks and Resources of Authentic Worship, Lifestyle Worship, Why a Biblical Strategy?, and Developing an Authentic Worship Strategy. The first phase explored the fields of multigenerational worship and strategic planning. The first part of the second phase required the project director to equip the pastoral staff of FBCM in the basic skills of strategic planning and to inform them concerning the dynamics of multigenerational worship. The second part of the second phase required the project director to lead the pastoral staff team to develop a strategy to transition FBCM from venue worship to a multigenerational worship model. Phase three resulted in the deacon fellowship and church council of FBCM approving the strategic plan and the time line for implementation.
