The project consisted of three components that developed an ongoing Drama Ministry at The Gathering through organization and evaluation. The first component involved the selection and development of the drama team and dramas. A history of drama and its use in the ancient times is presented with its present value as a communicative tool.  The author connects drama with the inherent qualities of the Gospel as a dramatic writing for evangelism.  The use of the word evangelism is examined along with its relationship to Christian education, Christian identity, American culture, and justice issues. The theological writings of Jurgen Moltmann offer the theological premise for the relating of drama and evangelism.  the author then composes four short plays on evangelism for use in a church. Group leaders were trained for this ministry who in turn trained other performers.  For several months, alsmost every Saturday, the performing arts evangelistic team witnessed Christ to audiences on a street corner at a shopping strip.
