reproducing Malagasy Christian leaders in the context of evangelism, discipleship and leadership development. It is in the African cycle of life that a connection is developed between the key components (relationships, instructions, covenants, traditions, and interventions) in the traditional rites of passage and a methodology of reproducing Christian leaders. Using biblical evidence as the basis for evangelism, discipleship and leadership development, the author interviews Malagasy traditional priests on Malagasy rites of passage and implements the African Model as a means for reproducing Malagasy Christian leaders by using the key components  integrated in the program. Society has mis-judged them and abandoned them in the system.  Leaders in the church, school, local government and even parents have often failed to nurture seeds once rooted, and now disconnected from the soul.  Their hearts are saddened, spirit is broken, due to rejection and abandonment. The author concluded that Christ's disciples spread the teachings, values, goals, and lifestyle of their Master. Olive C.M.E. Church, Orlando, FL, was a program designed to respond to the problem of the diminishing number of youth and young adults in the CME church. A group of twelve diverse participants received mentoring, tutoring, and empowering throughout the project. Seven mentors, training classes, a twelve-weeks Rites of Passage program, and a graduation celebration was done. Pre- and post-test questionnaires were used.
