Using Wesleyan baptismal and sanctification theologies and covenant renewal service, the author created a baptismal reaffirmation service to be applied to the worship and baptism at Hyosung Central Methodist Church. The author used sermons to teach the meaning of baptism, decorations in the baptismal hall to help believers recall their baptism, and the baptismal reaffirmation service to physically use water to emphasize the importance of sanctification. Through a sermon series, a focus group Bible study, and questionnaires, the project sought to discover biblical and theological correspondence with the denomination's position. The key conclusion of the research was that with some exception there was among the congregation congruence with the denomination's doctrinal statement on a vital teaching that seems unpopular or unwelcome in the current climate of 'felt-needs' ministry. Chapter 1 lays the foundation for developing a sanctification course for the College of Biblical Studies in Houston, Texas. Chapter 2 defines the term 'sanctification' and explains the components thereof. Chapter 3 defines three basic change models while seeking to emphasize the importance of using the biblical sanctification change model above the others. Chapter 4 lays out the course work and the process involved. The structure of the doctrine of entire sanctification, which focuses on personal experience, is too grounded in the past experiences of others.  This leaves the preacher to try and bring others into a foreign experience or convince them they really have had the experience the preacher is referring to.  This thesis will provide a fresh metaphor for understanding the doctrine of entire sanctification along with two hermeneutical approaches that will be pivotal for the preacher of doctrine. The method of study is research in three areas: 1. Nazarene doctrine, 2. problem areas where doctrine and music seem contrary to each other, and 3. practical suggestions for a doctrinally sound ministry of music for the Nazarene Church. The writer began this writing assuming his denominational emphasis on the doctrine of entire sanctification somehow made Nazarene music unique.
