The end product of this project is a manual that can be used by seminary students, by pastors wishing to enhance their preaching proficiency, and by teachers of homiletics who want to teach the skills needed to prepare relevant miracle stories sermons, especially in Chinese-Indonesian context. The second section of this thesis-project addresses the theological framework of miracle stories of the gospels. The third section addresses the literature reviews. The fourth section of the thesis-project is the manual itself, which addresses the practical concerns of how to prepare and deliver miracle stories of the gospels sermons. The manual found in section four is based on the principles of expository preaching developed by Haddon W. Robinson in his book Biblical preaching. Sermon application text-accuracy is maximixed when its development is systematically integrated with text-driven exposition of a Scripture.  The notion for the designed-in-accuracy-integrated process stems from secular business roots.  The former sermons' applications achieved significantly higher text-accuracy ratings. Data from the group, the preached sermons, sermon evaluations, and interviews with key stakeholders will inform recommendations for next steps. The study found reasons to be concerned that podcasting pastors' sermons might alter the way they preach to their congregants. The purpose of this study was to explore how preachers use evaluation for understanding how pastoral relationships influence preaching. The study followed a qualitative research method, utilizing semi-structured interviews with six pastors, analyzed in a constant comparative method. The research explored perceptions of the pastoral relationship, evaluation, emotional intelligence, and ongoing sermon preparation. The biblical grounding considers Paul's speech at the Areopagus (Acts 17:16-34). Niebuhr's Christ and culture is the basis for cultural context. The church's history, Paul's ministry, and technological advancements such as language, architecture and cultural practices helped enable proclamation of the Gospel. Literature should be considered as a resource for preaching and observations are made about literature's use in preaching within two congregational settings -- a structured group versus casual interaction. This report establishes the rationale for alternatives, summarizes lectionary history, lists and evaluates alternates, and provides two of the author's own lectionaries, Route 66, which explores a non-RCL passage in each book of the Bible, and the Progressive Dinner Lectionary, which highlights table scenes in the Bible.
