However, Jesus' intention for his disciples was to be a 'people who' embodied the gospel.  This project identifies the dominant scripts guiding many congregations, suggesting an alternative script including being a contrast society, participating in the mission dei, living as disciples, and understanding ourselves as 'family members' in the household of God.
