To increase their personal and structural awareness of sexism, a method of theological reflection on sexism and ministry was designed and used. The qualitative and feminist research methodology gathered data by means of field notes, journals, evaluations and presentations of the theological reflection method. Consciousness, theology and behaviour were manifestly altered in each of the four seminarians. The evidence was excerpted from the scriptures, from portions of formative theology, from feminist writings in the social sciences, and from three case studies in which various psychotherapuetic models were used in the counseling sessions that demonstrate the impact of the abuse of power.
