The researcher interviewed thirty Muslim-background believers living in Jordan at the time of the research. Shame must be attended to, or ita has the probability of manifesting in many harmful ways. Healing shame-based personalities is a sure way to find healing and wholeness. Shame is a deep social problem leading even more so to profound social, emotional and personality disorders. The purpose of this research is to bring attention to the plight of African American adolescent males and their problems with shame.
