The author explores issues foundational to the leadership development process and suggests a smallgroup, disciple-making approach as suitable for an introductory methodology in the local church.  He then designs, implements, and evaluates a specific developmental process.  Included is a group leader's manual for the smallgroup coursework as an appendix.
