The method for study was based on group dynamics process, psychological principles of active listening, and group session analysis. Chapter 1 introduces the contemporary Filipino small group, its problems, the proposed solution, and the anticipated results. Chapter 2 investigates relevant literature. Chapter 3 introduces the first century church, investigates and interprets the context of the Greco-Roman house churches, and integrates the concept of the New Testament house churches with their Greco-Roman context and the content of their practices. Chapter 4 introduces the concepts of the twenty-first century church and small group, investigates and interprets Filipino small groups, and integrates the content of New Testament church practices with contemporary small group theology. Chapter 5 presents the results on the New Testament house churches and their implications for Filipino small groups. In the second stage, the project director assembled a planning team, devised the planning process, and then led the team to develop an assimilation strategy.
