There will be concentration on teaching new communication skills which will allow the members to relate to each other more effectively. The hypothesis of this paper is: 1. facilitation with the members of a small local community will increase skills in communication, problem solving, sharing of feelings, confronting and challenging each other on issues significant to them, and 2. the group will be enabled to reduce its conflict and enhance its relational skills in a three-month period. At the end of a three-month period an evaluation of the project by interviewing the participants and by giving them a written questionnaire will take place."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["7d2ba5b6-aeec-459a-aaec-e1eed75d32f0"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791134727901544448,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:39:47.223Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-11T22:10:11Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T06:38:40Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"762ebbc1-a16a-497c-9826-0739cde42eb0","accessControl_ssim":["67bde99b-fd1b-4834-a02e-a68bee736908"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Discipling the pacesetter class of the First Baptist Church of Rantoul Illinois for the purpose of outreach"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-11T22:10:10Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T01:36:20Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["593765d4-c934-49cd-a0e7-f9e007740a6b"],"hasLease_ssim":["e9137eea-579b-417d-9441-e6a10363bb38"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Northern Baptist Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["William R Nelson"],"year_tesim":["1982"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Robert S Gorbold"],"publisher_tesim":["Northern Baptist Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Parish missions","Evangelistic work","Christian education of adults","Social groups","Bible--Study"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["The pacesetter class would be discipled for ministry by the study of the Scriptures, through a small group sharing process and by intentionally designing a ministry of outreach. It also seeks to glean how those given to united prayer motivate others. The method of research included a thorough study of Scripture, an intensive review of literature, personal observations, and extensive interviews. The interviews included six key experts, as well as three focus groups. The results of the research revealed that relationships were the key theme in encouraging united prayer. Anyone who wishes to motivate Christians to united prayer must develop environments where believers can build relationships. Spiritual renewal was also significant."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Covenant Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["e57e5218-1d34-47f5-b1a5-b84efbc9e61f"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791130889223143424,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:38:46.374Z","score":1.0}],"facets":[{"name":"resource_type_sim","items":[{"value":"Unknown","hits":27,"label":"Unknown"},{"value":"D.Min.
