A biblical, theological summary of discipleship precedes information regarding discipleship processes through Training Network International (T-Net).  Bolman and Deal's organizational frames help evaluate Southern Baptist discipleship materials and T-Net.  Survery results from Southern Baptist, T-Net-participating church members in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina show T'Net's impact on discipleship involvement and vitality.  There is interview data from twelve church leaders, detail on Culpeper (va.) Baptist Church's T-Net implementation, and an interview with Southern Baptist discipleship leader, Roy T. The project leader will select members from within the staff of the International Sports Federation to form a research development team.  The team will work together with the project leader to develop a training manual for sports mission team leaders.  This project will include a seminar for potential sports mission team leaders, who will learn tactics and principles for recruiting volunteers to fill sports mission teams and raise the necessary funds. The research method employed was a qualitative examination that primarily utilized the focus group method.  The author identified four summary lessons from the research.  There is a considerable need among Southern Baptist churches in Illinois for clergy evaluation processes.  There are successful feedback models that look very different.  A lay-involved process is stronger because it engages the opinions of laity and encourages teamwork. This process is based on the manual written by Charles Ridley, entitled How to select church planters: a self-study manual for recruiting, screening, interviewing and evaluating qualified church planters. Research in this project focused primarily on : (1) a careful review of the written assessment reports of more than 260 candidates; (2) administration of a written survey that was completed by the candidates which focused on the progress of their church plants; (3) a follow-up telephone survey and (4) a comparison of the results of the assessed candidates with a control group of forty planters who were not assessed but attempted to plant anyway.
