Selah is trinitarian and biblical in its spiritual theology of who God is and how he works in our lives, shaping us into the image of his Son, and contemplative in its methodology, training directors in attentiveness and responsiveness to the Holy Spirit in a spiritual direction session. This project focuses on identifying the religious needs of University of Richmond students. The project explores how the Office of the Chaplaincy at the University of Richmond can be more proactive in responding to the religious and spiritual needs of students at UR. Pastor-spiritual directors, elders, and scholars in spirituality were interviewed. The author explored his congregation's historical and sociological setting. His findings indicate a disconnection between reason and spirituality. Spiritual direction is emerging in a church crisis of spiritual decline. For historical perspective, he turned to John Calvin, Karl Rahner, and Howard Thurman. Additional insights came from biblical study, spiritual theologians, and contemporary church leaders. Four select groups of women from Northeast Ohio pregnancy centers attended two-hour menopause seminars presented at each location over a six month period in 2009. The analysis used to determine the impact was obtained from the pre- and post- test questionnaire responses of the participants. Results indicated that, while the participants were aware of the physical and emotional effects of menopause, they were not as knowledgeable of the spiritual aspects that applied to this period scripturally referred to ad the 'evening' of
