In this context, resurrection and the providence of God are addressed through a series of select questions and answers posed by the Heidelberg Catechism. Subjects such as the beginning of the universe, divine governance, original sin, resurrection and new creation are held in juxtaposition with scientific theories of Big Bang cosmology, thermodynamics, death of the universe, and evolution. It is concluded that hope for the future and the problem of evil are resolved only in light of cosmological resurrection and God’s suffering with creation for the sake of new creation."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com","martins02@moravian.edu"],"_version_":1851860319902629888,"timestamp":"2025-12-18T15:27:04.663Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T18:15:52Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T07:19:42Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"c9d1cba1-e166-4708-a27f-7d3c34053a67","accessControl_ssim":["9c6fa5c7-8f98-4ca0-85bd-17402d3223b0"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["An Exegetical Approach to the Pistis Christou Debate : Examining the Meaning of Pistis in Romans 3-5 and Galatians 2-3"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T18:15:51Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T03:55:53Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["d4530036-1ef6-4d04-b68d-10ccdd0966ba"],"hasLease_ssim":["f59a863a-f91b-46cb-8de2-91c238ec4d57"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Reformed Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Robert J Cara"],"year_tesim":["2018"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["J Alec Flynt"],"keyword_tesim":["Greek language--Terms--Pístis Christoú"],"publisher_tesim":["Reformed Theological Seminary, Charlotte campus"],"subject_tesim":["Bible. It seeks to answer this question through a simple, exegetical inquiry into the meaning of pistis in Romans 3-4 and Galatians 2-3. Pistis is examined because its meaning is the heart of the debate. By looking at Paul's use of pistis in the surrounding context ofsix of the seven occurrences of pistis Christou, this project expands the evidence for a proper translation. The outcome of this study is that Paul understands pistis to mean, 'human believing' and therefore, pistis Christou means, 'faith in Christ.'"],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Miscellaneous"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["4f3e9d5f-fc19-4d44-a264-44b56604eb9a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791129692332359680,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:19:44.930Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T18:10:05Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T01:57:20Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"17e47bc4-429b-43cc-b2fd-da2e96fb01e3","accessControl_ssim":["77b4b75f-7332-437b-814d-d9115d246a0e"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["A Study of Christian Spirituality Training through Wesley's Means of Grace Focusing on InHeung Methodist Church"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T18:10:05Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-16T22:49:56Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["d77f4dc5-7118-4e35-b38f-88f45ad76854"],"hasLease_ssim":["1f87c995-4559-4f7b-a4a4-6aa1aad26ef8"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Doctor of Ministry"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"year_tesim":["2018"],"resource_type_tesim":["D.Min. In this project, Wesley's means of grace ' Bible studies, prayers, the Holy Communion, Christian fellowships, and spiritual journaling' has been applied and the purpose is spiritual growth of participants with progressive changes into holiness in all realms. Therefore, by implementing the project, the author discovers that participants have understood Wesley's spirituality and means of grace, but also their life aims have been switched to resembling Jesus, and it can be a necessary tool for visible growth as they maintain and grow personal relationships with God."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["5a6e4a36-5801-4bff-8e61-86d7489efb4a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799716120590024704,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T01:57:21.028Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T17:58:37Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T06:45:03Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"c41e7588-95b3-4ac6-ace4-e6eba9ae07a3","accessControl_ssim":["791567c9-b5de-4f58-b017-71165971a3e5"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["The Psalms 'The standard liturgy and grand magazine of devotion for the Church in all ages' [Dr Robert Lee 1857]"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T17:58:36Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T03:45:58Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["79eee21b-4886-4cf5-9097-c44e4028a2ec"],"hasLease_ssim":["b347fb47-001d-4139-8359-acb57115b096"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Pittsburgh Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Douglas Galbraith","James Arthur Durlesser"],"year_tesim":["2018"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Lezley J Stewart"],"keyword_tesim":["Relation (Theology)"],"publisher_tesim":["Pittsburgh Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Bible--Liturgical use","Hymns","Bible--Devotional use","Lee, Robert, 1804-1868","Bible. The author takes the original publication of Prayers for Public Worship (1857) by Dr Robert Lee, Greyfriars Kirk, Edinburgh, Scotland and re-imagines it for use today under the title Let everyone find their voice [Psalm 150:6].
