Biblical exegesis demonstrates that baptism, though multivalent, is the rite of entrance into the new community established by the redeeming work of Christ.  An historical survey of the Reformed tradition, giving special attention to the work of John Calvin and the documents of the Westminster Assembly, concludes that the Reformed tradition has held to a highly developed baptismal theology, seeing the sacrament not as a mere symbol but as an instrumental means of grace.  Baptismal theology has, however, become a source of debate and division, often focused on the question of 'baptismal regeneration.' Government policies in some states in northern Nigeria are tilted to favor Muslims. The enforcement of the sharia legal system in twelve northern states in Nigeria has marginalized the Christians and made the mission and evangelism of the Church difficult. The innovation by the Wusasa Diocese to reach out using techniques like personal evangelism, discipleship, dialogue, education and poverty alleviation programmes are yielding results. Muslims are coming to know Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Dialogue has helped to minimize violence and has promoted mutual understanding between Christians and Muslims. Fifteen Anishinaabe graduates of a ministries program are interviewed on a range of topics. The phenomenological qualitative research methodology is uniquely suited for exploring such insights. Contributions from scholars of the early nineteenth century offer a dialogue with experiences of participants. This thesis will review what expository preaching is, and then go specifically into the theology of preaching for the Korean church and how past religions such as shamanism, Buddhism, and Confucianism have influenced Korean preaching today.  The participants will conclude the course with a time to preach in class and be evaluated; this is something most Korean seminary students do not have the opportunity to do. Episcopalians, like Christians everywhere, are in need of practical theological help to live out their faith in the workplace.  The good news is that we have two sources for daily practical Christian living: the Bible and the Prayer Book.  Others have explored the Scriptures; this work explores the Prayer Book.  It is a common belief in the Episcopal Church that liturgy shapes our faith.  It is, therefore, important work to understand the theology of work in the Prayer Book, and to let it become the mold into which our lives are poured.  The thesis begins with a theological study of work in the Book of Common Prayer.  This study includes two important works that were fashioned for this study.  There is a collection of every text in the Prayer Book that deals with work. These texts were then annotated theologically.  The second work is a theological compilation which was composed from the annotated texts.  These two documents provided the basis for a theological narrative.  The literature search explores two areas.  First, it focuses on what has been written about theology of work in the Book of Common Prayer.  Second, it includes all known American Episcopalian authors who have written on the general topic of Christianity in the workplace.  These authors have a number of helpful and interesting ways to reflect on life at work.  Finally, a weekend retreat plan is provided.  The purpose and format of the retreat are designed to reflect and respond to the various theological points that are found in the Prayer Book. It was the author's hypothesis that they did not. A qualitative research project was conducted, which included a literature review and interviews with twelve EPC pastors all of whom had at least ten years of ministry experience. This study confirmed the author's initial belief that preaching through Revelation is being neglected by EPC pastors. factor's such as absence of significant seminary training in Revelation, a perceived lack of practical application for today's listener and a deficiency of pastor's personal study in the book were all contributing factors.
