This project describes a process for developing a written staff covenant with a large church staff based on the order and theological bases of Reformed (Christian) worship. The project examines the Trinitarian image of God as a theological model for good human (staff) relationships; relates Trinitarian theology to modern models of organizational management; and highlights the order of Lord's Day worship as a theological superstructure for meaningful church staff community. A process that develops a written staff covenant emerges from the initial theological study. A new minister would do well to discover the theological climate as soon as possible and compare the church's theological biases in light of a Reformed theology of worship. Worship leadership that strives to be theologically inclusive will be based on understanding the object of worship as the God we know as Trinity. Theological categories based on the Trinity serve as reference points to the different biases worshippers and worship leaders bring to the worship. Over-emphasis on one of the Persons of the Trinity excludes other worshippers who desire to worship God in God's fullness. Theologically inclusive worship is planned, presented and reviewed by active church members. A Trinitarian model is used to evaluate the act of ministry. The success of the project indicates that future discussion by the larger church can be helpful in attempts to design and understand congregational biases in worship and a Reformed theology of worship. It can also help those interested in discovering compatibility of a new or potential minister and congregation."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Columbia Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["b5eba5c2-141b-4673-9689-2f9720736859"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791127985716199424,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T06:52:37.374Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-11T21:41:36Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T06:30:21Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"dd3df7f9-0354-4d16-a3de-28390b1214d5","accessControl_ssim":["ec28adf3-995c-414a-a76a-f40b607f6512"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Liberation in early Christianity"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-11T21:41:35Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T04:27:54Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["0656beb0-33cb-43a9-925c-181847003b67"],"hasLease_ssim":["c569ca6c-af5b-41cd-9006-dd6a7f2cf47f"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Doctor of Ministry"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Robin Darling"],"year_tesim":["1983"],"resource_type_tesim":["D.Min. In this trinitarian understanding of stewardship, Christian stewards are empowered through baptism to live as little Christs. Without interpersonal relationships it is almost impossible to communicate and teach wholistic stewardship.
