If you are a youth pastor, this equipping certainly involves recruiting volunteer leaders.  The goal of this project was to train three youth pastors in recruiting volunteer youth leaders using a four-phase strategy involving prayer, effective leadership team, worship service vision casting, and personal contacting. This project examines a successful chaplaincy training program at Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania, which educated 40 community volunteers in a 12-week course over a three-year period. These trained volunteers enabled the hospital to continue providing 24-hour pastoral care.
