It was taught twice at that university by the same instructor with classes of four and sixteen students. Students successfully absorbed the Biblical preaching material, but they did not absorb The seven laws of the learner because of its overwhelming detail. The conclusion was that a course at this level must use books streamlined along the lines of Biblical preaching to avoid 'mental dazzle' or information overload.
