This project developed a seminar to encourage older women in practical godliness that they could teach in their churhces. The nine participants in Chimbote, Peru, were evaluated three months later to determine content remembered, behavioral impact, and experiences as they taught in their churches. In this paper the author makes the case that equality of essence on the one hand, and permanent subordination on the other -- whether applied to the Trinity or the relationship between men and women -- is a questionable premise and is not supported logically, historically, or biblically.
