As women enter ministry in large numbers, they find the same sexism and even violence toward women in the church itself. This project proposes that it is almost impossible for a woman to attempt to change a hierarchical power structure,  provides demonstrating case studies, and draws necessary implications.  The project asks, 'Can a hierarchical power structure be changed to a shared power structure in one local congregation?'
