Volume 1 is a narrative description of the project, volume 2 the curriculum.  A high school curriculum was developed using Groome's method of shared Christian praxis to pass on the spirituality of the Order of Visitation. The curriculum was field-tested by two Visitation schools and deemed successful. Research was conducted through a five-year observation of a family recovery program in San Diego, California, and was substantiated by several current recovery models.  The subject recovery program, PARTS (Parents and Adolescents Recovering Together Successfully), is self-managed by families with addicted children.
