Involvement of persons in the local church, especially securing the approval of the official bodies of the church and recruitment and training of persons to work with the deaf are important. It deals with problems of securing proper materials for Christian education, the expansion of the program beyond the local church, with ecumenical involvement, and concerns of deaf ministry in the Baltimore Annual Conference."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["5a6e4a36-5801-4bff-8e61-86d7489efb4a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799721767047004160,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T03:27:05.910Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-11T21:41:36Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T06:30:21Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"dd3df7f9-0354-4d16-a3de-28390b1214d5","accessControl_ssim":["ec28adf3-995c-414a-a76a-f40b607f6512"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Liberation in early Christianity"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-11T21:41:35Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T04:27:54Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["0656beb0-33cb-43a9-925c-181847003b67"],"hasLease_ssim":["c569ca6c-af5b-41cd-9006-dd6a7f2cf47f"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Doctor of Ministry"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Robin Darling"],"year_tesim":["1983"],"resource_type_tesim":["D.Min. Biblical, theological and personal definitions of salvation provide a faith basis with which the author relates the perspectives and methods of Transactional Analysis and gestalt therapy, in particular. A processive, rather than a static, view of salvation provides the basic theological perspective for relating pastoral counseling and salvation. James E Loder's four-dimensional model by which he explored the dynamics of convictional experiences is criticized and expanded by process theology's perspective. An adapted Loderian model then provides a four-dimensional structure through which the author analyzes four case studies of psychotherapy processes and dynamics. The conclusion of the study is that pastoral counseling does participate in the process and dynamics of salvation."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["7d2ba5b6-aeec-459a-aaec-e1eed75d32f0"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791134720414711808,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:39:40.083Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-11T21:41:36Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T03:16:56Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"dacb08e3-7bff-4350-84c3-93bb2248ec25","accessControl_ssim":["3544b211-e7cf-455b-9eac-2d94d90b1ec0"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["A double crisis: a chaplain's ministry to Air Force male personnel undergoing mid-life crisis and Air Force retirement"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-11T21:41:35Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T04:23:22Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["f2fb961b-1b27-4b34-9f8f-ad23c6c8a28e"],"hasLease_ssim":["403c281a-fad9-4b89-93f6-0c45c23f9516"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["San Francisco Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Roy W Fairchild"],"year_tesim":["1983"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["James R Wilson"],"publisher_tesim":["San Francisco Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Pastoral psychology","Military chaplains","Retirement","Midlife crisis","Career changes"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This dissertation/project focuses on the need for ministry to Air Force male personnel who are experiencing transition in their lives because of simultaneous subjection to mid-life crisis and retirement/career change.
