The dissertation shows that even young children can learn much in corporate worship and will do so from symbols, symbolic action, through effective learnings, and through participation. The dissertation begins with a section on the theology and 'theory' of worship. The second half contains three practical courses aimed at enabling Christian education and worship committees (together) to learn about worship and to establish church policies and guidelines for the inclusion of children, and at informing parents about worship."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["San Francisco Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["38714359-d032-4ed0-ae3f-cb82c8f65a92"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799717664237551616,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T02:21:53.166Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-11T22:04:40Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T02:51:36Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"d15e5324-664a-456b-884a-5f253709c7be","accessControl_ssim":["f3b821de-55f3-46e4-823f-f7382718e9c5"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["A critical study of the nature and function of revival meetings in the Kyung Buk Presbytery"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-11T22:04:39Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T04:07:19Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["1f3a4d19-bb3a-4e4d-b3f5-23fc23e17415"],"hasLease_ssim":["19f550bf-b8e3-49f2-995c-97cac663cd7c"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["San Francisco Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Yung Hun Rhee"],"year_tesim":["1984"],"location_tesim":["Korea (South)","Korea"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Kyung Haeng Kim"],"publisher_tesim":["San Francisco Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Revivals","Church history","Mission of the church","Presbyterian Church of Korea"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["The central purpose of the dissertation/project is to study the theology of revival meetings in the Kyungbuk Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Korea and examine their actual conditions in an effort to suggest a desirable pattern for future revival meetings of the Korean church. The congregations are described as liberal, conservative, fundamentalist protestant, and catholic. The questionnaire revealed that these Christians are not as involved in sports as the general public. He researched the theological/biblical basis, the historical background, and the lives and ministries of ten bivocational and five full-time pastors in order to understand this ministry. Information gathered was used to develop a workshop manual in the areas of time management, pastoral counseling and educational opportunities. The author recognizes the importance of these traditionally problematic areas for the bivocational pastor and addresses them."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["San Francisco Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["38714359-d032-4ed0-ae3f-cb82c8f65a92"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799717840248373248,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T02:24:41.022Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-11T22:04:10Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T03:18:18Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"eeba3ada-dd59-4762-b360-b8a74d32f9d8","accessControl_ssim":["0544812f-2b46-46ad-abe9-a88cc3fa7762"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Towards an authentic Anglican and African liturgy in Nigeria: an experimental eucharistic liturgy"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-11T22:04:09Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T04:57:00Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["ef30538c-0df9-4fc1-9372-dc660eef2a6e"],"hasLease_ssim":["1c84baa6-3cb3-4b2b-b9f2-379bc458839b"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["San Francisco Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["J Akinyele Omoyajowo"],"year_tesim":["1984"],"location_tesim":["Africa","Nigeria"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Solomon Olaniyi Amusan"],"keyword_tesim":["Indigenization of worship"],"publisher_tesim":["San Francisco Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Missions","Liturgics","Anglican Communion","Church history"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["Christianity was brought into Nigeria by the Church Missionary Society of England among other denominations in the nineteenth century.
