This project asserts that when the differences are analyzed and understood and the lines of convergence are observed, the differences are of such minor importance in producing salvation and developing Christian character that preaching and teaching either of the opposing views as a doctrine needed in the Church should be avoided. Disciples have largely ignored Epiphany, providing deficient educational and liturgical materials for its observance.  A theological/historical rationale recommending the celebration of Epiphany was developed; preaching, worship and educational resources were project-generated.  Pre and post-project surveys demonstrated that clergy are more informed regarding the nature of Epiphany than about its historical development, liturgical celebration, and educational observance. Feminist understandings of power and authority are examined from theological, historical and psychological perspectives. Principles of a feminist theory and theology of leadership are applied to case studies of women currently ministering in solo pastor, senior pastor and co-pastor positions.
