A leadership training manual was developed and seven students were trained to lead koinonia groups.  These same students also participated in a weekly koinonia group meeting.  The participants and a control group of seven other students responded to a pretest/posttest.  The tests indicated statistically significant improvement in leadership skills and Christian maturity.  Outside advisors also provided input and evaluation. Major divisions in the church have altered liturgical practices, especially the ritual observance of the sacraments of baptism and Eucharist.  Early Christian worship reflected in the gospel of Luke and the Book of Acts reveals the religious experiences of the church in the last third of the first century.  To the extent that they can be recovered, this project reveals how the sacramental practices of baptism and Eucharist were formative in the Luke/Acts community, how they evolved through twenty centuries of Christianity, and how they present a paradigm for modern Christian worship. The hypothesis was tested in India by developing and implementing a discipleship training program with mentoring. The project involved training two groups of students called mentoring and non-mentoring.  After fifteen weeks of discipleship training, test scores indicated that the mentored group had an edge over the non-mentored. One hundred nineteen medium-size congregations of the Oklahoma District Council of the Assemblies of God were studied with concentration given to the auxiliaries reported by those congregations.  The hypothesis was based upon the concept of a unified mission.  Implementation was guided by the belief that multiple functioning and giving auxiliaries affected positively world ministries giving.  The project failed to establish such a positive relationship due to disparities even among churches reporting the same number of auxiliaries. Each unit contains a group discussion guide.  The material can be used in nine individual sessions or in a retreat setting.  The research of the project was carried out during work with hundreds of people involved in ministry at Friendship Chapel in Jenison, Michigan.  The second set of three study units presents a psychological explanation for diversity in the church based on the personality type theory of Carl G Jung.  The final three study units present applications of psychological type theory to three areas of significant diversity in the church. This meant providing tools to assist people to envision the nature and function of the church and then to formulate a plan to assist believers in increased participation in the ministry of the church in the power of the Holy Spirit. Twenty-eight members attended the two-day training session. The result was that participants recognized the need and committed to more personal involvement in ministry.
