The project involved the use of the experimental method with statistical evaluations of experimental and control groups.  The experimental group completed a training course consisting of thirteen sessions, and evaluation method tested the effectiveness of the course. Pretests and posttests measured a statistically significant increase in both knowledge and use of spiritual gifts. The ten-week program consisted of a combination of group activity and lecture.  The group completed an open-ended narrative using selected vocabulary words.  Each member received five vocabulary words to contribute to the story line in successive group order using one word at a time. Lectures consisted of specific age-related topics of puberty. Descriptive survey methodology and statistical evaluations were used with an experimental and control group. Factors impacting assimilation were determined.  A ministry was designed.  A group of sponsors was enlisted and trained.  A test of the ministry was conducted.  Evaluation of the ministry was performed by means of descriptive survey methodology, simple statistical analysis, and critical pastoral reflection.  New members who had been sponsored showed a statistically significant increase (p = less than .1) in assimilation for three of the seven indicators tested. To identify and define parenting principles, the descriptive and historical methods of research were used. Selected parents participated in an eight-week training seminar.  Experimental and descriptive methodology was the basis of pretest/posttest evaluation of a control and experimental group.  Statistical analysis indicated the experimental group demonstrated significant levels of change after the training.  The participants continued in a seven-week seminar to design a program for applying the parenting principles. Eight major retirement adjustment needs were identified and defined through the use of personal observation, research, and questionnaires.  The design of the program focused on the eight major retirement adjustment needs.  Surveys and a pretest-posttest indicated that the fourteen senior adults who participated in an eight-week training program showed an increased knowledge of these problems. The experimental method was used to collect research data.  A sermon series was used to define the nature and purpose of spiritual gifts for church leadership.  Twelve adult church members completed homework assignments and participated in small-group activities to identify their spiritual gifts and learn how to utilize their gifts in church leadership. The research method included randomized and nonrandomized samples utilizing two control groups and three experimental groups.  Five testing instruments were used.  The project director employed a sermon series from I Corinthians, an intergenerational discipleship course, a young adult course on senior adulthood, and an intergenerational activity council during the implementation of the project.  Each group was observed and tested to determine if intergenerational koinonia had been achieved.
