Literature on both power theology and on church growth around the world was researched, and visits were made to some of the fastest growing churches in the United States and Taiwan. Over 500 visitors pass through the church every year.  Most are seeking a new church.  In spite of this, attendance has remained flat for five years. Intentional involvement of new people should increase their chance of staying with the church.  Changes were made in purpose, vision, organization, and leadership. After one year, questionnaires were answered by those who stayed and left after attending for a while. Descriptions of angelic of a divine presence, encounters with human beings perceived to be angels, and perceived encounters with celestial beings. The project consisted of eleven sessions.  The participants demonstrated their understanding of cross-cultural relational evangelism and Hinduism and other beliefs in the posttest. These common variables that are repeated in one good preacher after another fall into three major headings: what is said (accuracy, relevance); how it is said (clarity, passion); and who says it (giftedness, credibility). Through the process of 'storyboarding,' a creative brainstorming exercise, these common variables were highlighted.  This led to the creation of an analytical tool that was used to evaluate sermons from 8 different preachers from various denominational backgrounds.  The analytical tool served to verify the effectiveness of those preachers who participated in the study. The first part is historical and critical, explaining the views of recent authors who have opposed all church debt and offering a biblical and practical critique of those views.  Then all the biblical passages relevant to indebtedness are exegeted and interpreted.  The conclusions presented are that the Scriptures do not forbid borrowing for individuals and it is inconsistent to allow borrowing for individuals but not for churches.
