An effort to build a trust relationship had to begin.  To accomplish this, the congregation had to understand the pastor in certain images. These images, servant, child, friend, and partner, would be topics of sermons describing the congregation and pastor. This understanding would assure the acceptance of pastor and congregation.  The enlistment of a small response group of church members and a spiritual mentor proved to be helpful. In this project/dissertation the writer has constructed a research of the married life of participants and administered an experiment for nine weeks. The methodology in this project to measure the improvement of the marriage enrichment was for the experimental and control groups to take two tests: a pre-test before the program, and a post-test three months after the end of the program. Forerunner Ministries is one of the first in the nation to systematize a national ministry for older adults.  Research for this project was accomplished through surveys, interviews, and appropriate book and literature exploration.
