The primary background for Christian worship is Jewish worship. The awareness of these facts is not primary in the minds of most Christians. The goal of this project is to lead Christian worshippers on a story journey to the intersection of Judaism and Christianity by way of the celebration of the Passover, and that the faith lives of the participants would be enriched as they reclaimed this aspect of their religious roots in Judaism. This document defines the journey, describes the journey, and reveals its impact."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Boston University"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["2d58bd09-76d0-4970-b257-d55229e0173e"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799715030346760192,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T01:40:01.292Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T04:10:30Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T02:31:40Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"73875dc2-a064-44c4-bc86-66c3335daa2c","accessControl_ssim":["b1b17097-6e4b-49aa-9c83-e7b9c4ff3684"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Development and testing of a spirituality assessment instrument"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T04:10:29Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T01:30:52Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["41912811-63c6-40d5-b02e-3d66a595fc01"],"hasLease_ssim":["8383435a-2263-46dd-b7db-6674f05fa7ce"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Boston University"],"advisor_tesim":["Carrie Doehring"],"year_tesim":["1995"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Lawrence L LaPierre"],"keyword_tesim":["Tests and measurements in religion"],"publisher_tesim":["Boston University School of Theology"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This thesis describes a new theory of spirituality and a quantitative instrument designed to assess the presence of each of its six dimensions of spirituality. Content analysis was used to evaluate data gathered from interviews of six original members and twelve new members who joined after the merger. Problems revolving around fears of anonymity and loss of intimacy affected the assimilation of original members. The making of new friends was important in deciding whether or not original members or new members remained active. Confrontations in newly formed groups inhibited the assimilation process.
