Over a six-week period the project guides a small group of 10 adults from Lumberton, North Carolina, in a process of group dialogue that moves them to reflect on adolescent experiences and Christian faith. A survey of new members added to a congregation over a four-year period reveals that more than 90 percent joined and were baptized as a result of attending the class. In the class the participants' stories become the stories of those who share them in reading and hearing.
