The project consisted of three phases, including training of facilitators, activities to change the attitude and understanding, and the development of the purpose statement and goals.  The project results were mixed.  A strong document stating the purpose and goals of the Sunday School was developed. The study concludes that outposting by particular congregations can work and should be encouraged in addition to or as viable alternatives to denominational strategies.
