This study will seek to provide a biblical framework of spiritual gifts and to suggest a simple spiritual gifts and personality test to Chinese church leaders so that they can help Chinese Christians in North America, whether Overseas-Born or American-Born, to focus their thoughts on their uniquenesses in God instead of on their differences. The end result is to enhance his self-esteem and sense of belonging and personal satisfaction by glorifying God and edifying others. A believer will achieve this goal by making his unique contribution to the body of Christ with his passion (serving in a ministry for which he has enthusiasm and emotional energy), spiritual gifts (performing functions which use his particular giftedness), and personal style (functioning relationally in a role that energizes the volunteer rather than drains him emotionally). Korean Americans should develop worship and eucharistic forms that agree with Korean tradition and culture and harmonize with the Korean psyche. The author suggests that Korean immigrant churches should develop a Eucharist that is both contextual and based on the World Council of Churches' document Baptism, Eucharist and ministry. Chapter 2 briefly introduced two of Jesus' stories in Luke as a biblical storytelling model and surveyed the theological aspects of biblical storytelling. Chapter 3 explained that the human brain has a physiological structure and cognitive characteristics that enable the listener to maintain the essentials of the story for longer periods of time.  Story's role in human history, in both sociological and psychological aspects, was discussed here as well. Training of the Sunday School teachers, grounded on these findings, was described in Chapter 4. Chapter 5 shows how teachers themselves were instructed about the storytelling form as the biblical teaching method of faith. As a writer of the Pentecostal Holiness Sunday school curriculum aimed at Generation X, this writer wanted to develop a program evaluation of this material to determine if it is relevant to Generation Xers. The attitudes of both those within and without the church will be examined after they respond to a survey upon reading two Sunday school lessons. The assumption is that the material will not be as relevant to those outside of the church. The goal of this paper is to discover how to make Sunday school curriculum more interesting and relevant to the lives of Generation Xers. As the Baby Boomers are rapidly aging, it is important to learn how to disciple this particular generation. The message of the gospel must remain constant, but the way of reaching Generation X may prove to be vastly different from formerly successful methods. Using a four-level strategic plan which includes the sharing, recruiting, and training of church members by the formal and practical methods, the author presents the biblical, theological, historical, socio-cultural, religious and political backgrounds with special discussion on ancestor worship and the Three-Self church in addition to personal field experiences with both long- and short-term tentmakers. The method used includes observation-participation with formal and informal interviews. The research includes interviews with elderly churchgoers to find out about their life experiences, and a portrait of ageing compiled from literature.  Sermons for a congregation of elderly are compared to sermons on the same text for a mixed age congregation.  Signs of God's transforming grace at work are noted.  Preaching that is oral and embodied, using stories and images, is really effective.
