The discussion focuses on the development of the concept and its later implementation in a Roman Catholic parish. It demonstrates the unique character of collaborative ministry. The process of building collaborative ministry in an archaic parish in a conservative, rural, working-class suburb is outlined. Theological foundations, ecclesiastical and canonical concerns are carefully addressed. Through content analysis of source documents leadership patterns were identified in successive historical periods. Team leadership was found to be most relevant in contemporary, cosmopolitan Singapore.  It is both adaptable to Asian values and responsive to socio-economic factors affecting both the society and the Church. Through discussion of the offices of Christ, it intends to define the structure of church pastoral ministry in terms of the concept of Incarnational Pastoral Ministry.  Chapter 1 discusses the theology of the Incarnational Pastoral Ministry.  Chapter 2 is divided into 'Ministry into the World,' 'Ministry of Revelation' and 'Reconciliation,' and 'Ministry of Judgment and Grace.' Chapter 3 provides a practical discussion of this threefold mediation of Christ.
