This study explored how faith changes and develops at times of suffering and after, using Pargament's RCOPE and the author's questionnaire on faith behaviors.  Using McClure's roundtable pulpit method for an 8-week study, the author taught a lectionary-based class focused on making sense of suffering, and wove personal stories, scripture, and emerging theological themes to inform the preaching. Chapter 3 shows the credence given to the rationale of the project through the sociological environment, the corporate world, and society in general, for example, the growing place of women in the professional business and public life and the growing importance of the issue in ecumenical relationships, school life, and workplace experiences. In Chapter 4, the focus is the actual procedures of the research project. This chapter encompasses the step-by-step procedure. Chapter 2 begins with a biblical and theological analysis about transformational leadership and the need to place a biblical pattern for developing and training leaders. Chapter 3 presented an investigation of transformational leadership process and the use of leadership in two different styles. Chapter 4 describes the ten week process of equipping a selected group of leaders of the Corinthian Baptist Church to initiate a transformational leadership ministry with specific emphasis on leadership. Chapter 2 examines the historical, biblical, and theological implications of expository preaching and evangelism. The project methodology is examined alongside those principles found and then implemented accordingly. Chapter 3 continues to look at expository preaching and evangelism, but does so from a sociological and psychological viewpoint. The goal is to identify challenges facing the church so that an appropriate plan may be devised to overcome them. Chapter 4 details the process and method of the project. A series of expository sermons was presented while an ongoing evangelism training strategy was implemented.
