Chapter 1 gives the context of both the church and the county, highlighting the need for Hispanic church planting. Chapter 2 examines the biblical and theological basis for church planting. Chapter 3 looks at church planting methodologies, including ethnic church planting and Hispanic church planting in the state of Alabama. Chapter 4 gives details of the project process. Special attention is given to the different types of preparation for church planting. Chapter 5 is the author's personal reflection on the project. Because the project's goal was to lead the church to begin the journey of church planting, little emphasis is given to the 'nuts and bolts' of church planting. The author also considered the contemporary world's concern for God and His Word. Ch.3 examines the five genres of the Old Testament. Specific insights, sub-types, and characteristics of each of the genres are addressed. This chapter also includes general principles for understanding each of the five Old Testament genres and suggestions for preaching these genres. Ch. 4 presents the methodology used in the expository sermon series and teaching sessions. It includes the facets of the implementation of the project from beginning to completion. It is concerned with addressing questions influencing the current stage of the evangelical church and the subsequent impact on church leadership.  The primary premise of the work is that by nature we are all creative beings.  If God is a creator God, and we are created in His image, then there is something in us that seeks to create, and see the works of our hands and say, 'it is good.'  Therefore, a goal of leadership is to bring out creativity in people.  The term creative expression is used in this work to describe the creative process evident in all disciplines.  Organizational leadership in a postmodern world must inspire creative expression.  Specific dynamics for effective organizational leadership will be examined. We introduce two ministry sites that will serve as our laboratory for the practical application and evaluation of this research. The thesis concludes with suggestions for returning the church to a more balanced and biblical foundation.  By examining the cultural environment necessary to inspire to artist, it will be possible to develop the God-given creative expression in everyone. The result called for this modification of the thesis statement: 'the family makes an input in the development of wholesome males, and, where this input is negative, the Church sometimes contributes to the transformation and sustenance of such men.'
