The training of the 14 pastors took place in Nairobi, Kenya, in September 2002. The group had one year to put the principles learnt into practice. The class met twice after the one-year period to reevaluate the ten principles they had previously learnt. The project proved that it was possible to plant churches using the ten leadership principles gathered from Paul's speech at Miletus. 5 new churches were planted and the other 9 that had existed before this project began grew by 33% to 185%. The prayer life of the pastors, the giving in the churches and the small groups ministries improved."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Asbury Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["6c1e11e8-b66e-47b6-8fe9-6c546c20935c"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791133905665916928,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:26:43.078Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T09:42:38Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T08:31:57Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"5b063dce-73e1-4f0f-b452-52bdbbcd39bf","accessControl_ssim":["d19fbbe5-285a-4779-8926-03ecd1323e26"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Church for the unchurched: a study of effective ministry areas for evangelizing people without a background in the Christian faith"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T09:42:37Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T00:48:32Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["ff60023e-bbeb-4ef7-9a5c-115d4d3d0760"],"hasLease_ssim":["a8f6d0d6-ab52-4253-a7cb-46dd379fec29"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Asbury Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Jerry L Walls"],"year_tesim":["2004"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Jack Jackson"],"publisher_tesim":["Asbury Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Postmodernism","Evangelistic work","Generation X"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["The purpose of this research project was to discover if one ministry area for evangelism is more effective than others for never-churched persons.
