The research methodology is as follows. First of all the literary analysis of narrative forms will be explained. Since the Book of Ruth is of the story type, exegesis of this book through the narrative form seems to be a very good method used. Then, the elements of narrative are used in interpreting the Book of Ruth. Finally, we will explain how to apply the life stories of the main characters as told in the analyzed narrative of the Book of Ruth to the situations people confront today. By studying the Book of Ruth we see that there was a creator, a guide and a redeemer, who established a relationship on the basis of 'covenant' and 'love' with plain people who had trust in Him."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Logos Evangelical Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["54e7729a-4915-469f-8fd5-c7bb7ccd6c20"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791134329148014592,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:33:26.942Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T09:32:08Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T08:26:03Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"0ce9892e-51ac-4a3f-b3a3-45709d148837","accessControl_ssim":["7fe08410-67fe-413e-ae6b-2bbfcc75c922"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["The graphic gospel: preaching in a postliterate age"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T09:32:07Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-16T22:28:53Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["281b365b-f8d0-4bdf-918d-47311d66c5e8"],"hasLease_ssim":["e9f8c232-b8f2-49c8-ab77-081d8260b856"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Asbury Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Ken Boyd"],"year_tesim":["2004"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Jay R Akkerman"],"publisher_tesim":["Asbury Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Media programs (Education)","Worship","New Hope Community Church of the Nazarene (Tempe, Ariz)","Preaching"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["The purpose of this study was to determine which factors related to congregational receptivity toward the use of visual media in preaching by exploring factors including generational group, gender, dogmatism, postmodernism, and postliteracy. the study consisted of a researcher-designed, cross-sectional quantitative survey of attitudes toward the use of visual media in preaching. I want to share salvation of Jesus to those who live in the northwest of China. The reasons of my focus on the northwest of China are as follows. First of all, the northwest is the poorest area in China. Secondly, the people's lives of this area are in a spiritual meaninglessness and seem to be much influenced by Islam. I expect that Christians can build a Bible training center there as soon as possible. Hopefully, hundreds, even thousands, of trainees may be molded as missionaries from this center and they can share Jesus' love and grace to others. This thesis is divided into five chapters. Chapter one is the introduction. Chapter two emphasizes the strategy of Jesus Christ's ministry in the area of Palestine. Chapter three introduces the northwest region of China including descriptions of geography, resources, populations, and religious condition. Chapter four presents the evangelism strategy for the northwest area of China. Chapter five concludes that in the next fifteen years, one hundred missionaries will be equipped and sent to the vast northwest area of China."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Logos Evangelical Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["54e7729a-4915-469f-8fd5-c7bb7ccd6c20"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791134461980573696,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:35:33.621Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T09:31:38Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T08:32:42Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"65e8455b-b0cc-4023-ab32-3258cb34bbc4","accessControl_ssim":["c63b0363-ad6f-4a6e-937b-9979eb196d66"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["The locus of a call: a comparative study of 'call' and how call is actualized within ethnically diverse Churches of God (Anderson)"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T09:31:37Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T01:06:45Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["4da4042a-edfa-446d-84fa-b16f08719a57"],"hasLease_ssim":["559b8556-9e77-44e7-a3a8-c8333948f6e8"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Asbury Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Richard L Gray"],"year_tesim":["2004"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Ouida J Oliphant"],"publisher_tesim":["Asbury Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Leadership--Religious aspects--Christianity","Church of God (Anderson, Ind)","Vocation, Ecclesiastical","African American churches","Church work"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["Certain churches appear to have an overabundance of ministers and other churches a paucity. The findings of this research suggest that mentoring makes an important contribution to the development of pastors. Therefore, Gospel drug rehabilitation is the main concern in this research study. The research method is based on qualitative research including 35 male drug addicts who were in the Operation Dawn as the subjects in this study. These methods also include getting to know the drug addicts, in-depth interviews, and lastly forms theory. The study uncovers male drug addicts successfully giving up drugs and continuing to maintain drug-free, and the main factor is the faith in God."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Logos Evangelical Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["54e7729a-4915-469f-8fd5-c7bb7ccd6c20"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791134749563027456,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:40:07.881Z","score":1.0}],"facets":[{"name":"resource_type_sim","items":[{"value":"Unknown","hits":413,"label":"Unknown"},{"value":"D.Min.
