The project leader recruited seventeen postmodern-age church members to participate in the project.  After the participants were recruited, the project leader trained them to understand and embrace their role in the project.  This project leader demonstrated that a communal, relational connection with postmodern people provides a foundation for evangelism.  Targeting a local group of gated communities, the participants attempted to call the postmodern people in these properties and invite them to attend a community event.  A mailed invitation coincided with the personal call. At the community event, the participatns helped the guests fill out a registration for the prizes, invited them to a social event with friends that week, and invited them to join them at church the next Sunday.  Through various obstacles discussed in the project, this project leader discovered valuable principles for the evangelization of postmodern people. Results: In a nutshell, the Spirit is life-giver, action-motivator, message-revealer, mind-illuminator, art-creator, gospel-communicator, Christ-witness, leadership-empowerer, truth-teacher, people-transformer, community-builder, and God-presenter. He is both ethical and performing enabler. With the rapid growth of Christianity in India there are no other alternatives but to equip the lay people for the work. Second, this project will suggest methods for church-based training programs for lay church planters. This study consists of understanding the purpose of a local church and also demonstrates a biblical foundation for church-based training for lay church planters. This study will also define the role of the pioneer workers as trainer. The authors also suggest methods on how to organize training program, including courses and subjects, which need to be taught. The destiny of India lies in the hands of lay people. Ch. 1. Introduces Mount Olive Baptist Church and its surrounding community. The demographics of the community and the church show that the congregation places its focus on the development of its youth and believes in the value of education. Ch. 2 addresses the biblical and theological issues surrounding youth. Ch.3 sets forth a paradigm for understanding the growth and development of youth. Ch. 4 Explains the process used in implementing the project. The pre and post seminar questionnaires and the focus group were the tools used to evaluate the effectiveness of the seminar. The final chapter of the project focuses on analysis and evaluation. This work contends that effective youth ministry must be done from a holistic perspective. A holistic youth program seeks to engage the young person at every level of their being--spiritually, socially, academically, psychologically, and physically.
