Methodology includes: (1) Attending to woman's experience affecting her sense of self; (2) Deconstructing patriarchal dominance and violence impacting woman's sense of self (gender wounds); (3) Reconstructing a feminist interdisciplinary conversation between relational psychology (Jean Baker Miller, relational cultural theory), and relational theology (Rosemary Ruether, Carter Heyward). The research procedure evaluates the experience of the participants who have received this training. It looks at the data before and after the seminar in these four areas and statistically establishes the reliability of the conclusions. First, the project director researched critical mission issues and skills for cross-cultural ministry in order to develop a tool to train youth for ministering cross-culturally overseas. Second, the director developed a teaching module for selected Southern baptist leaders in Texas to use to train youth for ministry in cross-cultural setting. Last, the director equipped selected Southern baptist leaders in Texas with the teaching module to train youth in ministering cross-culturally. These selected leaders along with the youth participants provided assessment and evaluation regarding the effectiveness and usefulness of the training module. In addition to the ministry goals, the project director pursued two professional goals. The first professional goal was to increase knowledge in cross-cultural ministry for the purpose of developing a tool for training youth. Training included four instructional sessions that the project director led in four successive weeks. The selected members completed follow-up assignments for personal application. Through the initial training session, a PowerPoint presentation illustrated the importance of a greeter ministry. Session two explored foundational elements of the greeter ministry and the greeter lead team responsibilities. Session three included role playing, a detailed tour of the church property and facilities, and the use of church map identification. Then, the director enlisted a group of leaders to equip in an assimilation ministry in Central baptist Church. last, the project director led the sessions as team members were equipped in an assimilation ministry and recognized the need for an intentional assimilation process in Central Baptist Church.
