The project director researched the area of strategy planning skills in the first stage.  In the second stage, the director developed the lesson plans for the workshop to equip the leaders in basic strategy planning skills. This project used fourteen postmodern people in four critical events to expose them to biblical conflict reconciliation ministry. The following themes were used: relationships, communication, conflict, and reconciliation. The participants were interviewed and tested using a variety of research tools. The guidelines are intended to give direction to the pastors of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Peoria, Illinois, and also to assist other pastors. Since the pastors at Redeemer Lutheran Church currently use projection media for sermons, this project was intended to hone and clarify what they are already doing. Since many pastors seek to use projection to enhance their sermons, this project was designed to assist them in doing so. The primary component of this study was a series of 8 sermons preached by the researcher. The subjects in the study were tested for retention and comprehension of the sermon material as well as slide content. The study actually produced the opposite of what was expected, but on the basis of the acquired information, pastors were able to make adjustments to their usage and the research provided reasoned guidelines reflecting what was learned. This was accomplished by developing an integrated discipleship strategy for young people, parents, and senior citizens to collaborate on biblical mandates and other resources to transform all of their lives spiritually. Resources included literary research, youth minister interviews, and two decades of youth ministry experience. The director measured the project's effectiveness through the commitment of participants, group dialogue and assessment, and personal reflection. The project director developed the Spiritual Mentor Workshop to train people to mentor others in discipling relationships.  Research yielded valuable information in the fields of mentoring, discipleship, and curriculum design to accomplish this goal.  The workshop was a seven-week training event that equipped twelve people, six men and six women, to be spiritual mentors.  The project director used various evaluative measures, including assistance from academic expert Dr. Jerry Pounds and educational expert Carol Passmore, to analyze the project.  The workshop launched spiritual mentoring as a disciple-making strategy at His Church in Pineville. The author  suggests that such an addiction in the life of a believer is a matter of idolatry. He points out that the normal secular counseling strategies with their emphasis on addiction as 'disease' and even many of the 'so called' Christian strategies fail to address the spiritual issues involved in ways that bring real healing and wholeness. The author read extensively in the literature published on this topic and interviewed those involved with the addiction including victims, counselors and the abusers themselves.
