The project director explored the dynamics of Bible storying including its history, strengths and weaknesses, success stories, and usefulness as it pertains to discipleship. Using that information, the project director developed a workshop aimed at training people in the art of Bible storying. To better understand attitudes about cohabitation, selected young adults were invited into a dialogue. Storytelling, brief counseling, biblical topics, and social interaction were coordinated to encourage group participation and self-learning. At the conclusion of the study, cohabitating couples revealed their decisions to marry or not to marry. He creatively re-appropriates and re-packages these practices for use by contemporary Unitarian Universalists, including teaching handouts and syllabi for congregational and graduate school classes. The author researched how study of the missional ecosystem helped to move a congregation beyond a limited benevolence outreach to an effective ministry with special focus on ministry to the adolescent. This missional conversation is framed within the larger missio-ecclesiological theology. God's mission to the world can only be understood through the incarnate Word of God. Incarnation is presented as the model for fulfilling God's purpose in the world.
