Nine individuals were asked what made them receptive to the charismatic experience. Common influence factors were identified which the group members shared and which made them receptive to the charismatic experience. Twenty-seven participants answered forty-five discovery questions concerning their missional experiences. Their responses revealed that they had been transformed by the Holy Spirit and graciously answered the call to missional servanthood. The participants in the project are the existing small group leaders. Ownership increased as group leaders display desired behaviors reflecting affective change. The methodology utilized to accomplish this goal was the qualitative approach. The results revealed that as persons gained a better awareness of themselves, they were better able to draw from their experiences to form relationships with other people, the crux of new faith communities.
