The project is a phenomenological study, which looks for the essence of a shared experience, then seeks meaning. This project used a quantitative and qualitative research method with questionnaires to pastors of twenty-four Korean American churches which have implemented, or are currently implementing, the EE program for spiritual growth of new and existing members. The EE program has two weakneses in Korean American churches. One is a lack of networks of relationship, and the other is a lack of training and application for witnessing as a way of life. This project shows that the EE program is a good model of discipleship for evangelism-orientation, if properly adapted to Korean American churches. EE is not a canned evangelism program, but it provides a good model of relationship evangelism. This project recommends that the Korean American church needs to make EE their own, and adapt it to their own contexts. Based on the analysis of data through mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative research), the researcher proposed modifying and updating the traditional Japanese seminary curriculum for pastoral ministry. A modified curriculum requires first that seminaries nurture leaders who can lead their churches toward the eschatological vision in Revelation 7:9 as the goal of ministry. A case study of ten established mid-sized churches that have walked the road to renewal served as the framework for the research. The focus was to make accessible to non-clinical inner healing ministers recent psychological and neuroscientific findings about attachment wounding. Twelve participants assessed the resource by an instrument that included Likert-scale quantitative and open-ended qualitative questions. Quantitative data revealed strong agreement that the resource provided a basic understanding of attachment wounds. Qualitative findings revealed 100% of the participants described the resource as helpful. This fact of multi-ethnicity in the Anglican Diocese of Sydney has led to the planting of ethnic-specific congregations based on McGavran's Homogeneous Unit Principle.  This thesis challenges the HUP model by examining the biblical theological framework of Christ's new humanity and understanding evangelism, conversion and church-planting with that framework. Field research shows that ethnic-specific church planting brings immaturity, ethnic insulation, and frustration for Anglican rectors.
