Some of their traits can be positive such as quick communication, building on tradition, and mutual recognition. This project studied instances where negative expressions of single cell congregations were evident such as indirect communication, the making of scapegoats, and failing to observe boundaries. With this conviction he examined the conditions of the Korean Church and the local church, the Bok-Ji church, he was serving as a senior pastor, and found that the church had too much focused on the side of individual salvation with paying little attention to joining the universal salvific work of God. At the end of his thesis, based on his Wesleyan belief and his pastoral experience, the researcher proposed on how a local church can operate its social welfare ministry successfully. The analysis of the participants' responses provided the research with a before and after picture of the participant's prayer lives. Systematic precautions against suicide in Korea, however, are insufficient compared to other developed countries. In the Korean military, suicide is the number one cause of death, and personal and family wounds caused by suicide are a major and difficult problem. The author researched suicide prevention education for chaplain assistants so that it could be more effective. Many topics were discussed, including what chaplain assistants can strive for in terms of suicide prevention for soldiers who are living together with them in the army. The HMong became the CIA's secret army fighting against the Communist forces.  By the late 1960's, as the war in Laos intensified, the HMong were doing the majority of America's fighting, and dying, there.  In May 1975, after the fall of Laos, tens of thousands of HMong escaped to Thailand.  As an autobiographical study, the project thesis serves as a historical study of the HMong people. First, the author researched biblical and theological implications through 1 Corinthians by defining a 'bicultural community.' Second, he evaluated the current bilingual way of preaching and whether it could support creating harmony between Korean members and other ethnic groups at the Alpha Korean Community Church in Washington, DC by interviewing co-pastors, distributing surveys, and receiving professional advice. By examining the historical case of Briggs v. Elliott and the present-day situation of county schools, the author found schools are technically desegregated but are far from integrated. Ninety-eight percent of the students are African-American. In present day Summerton, separate still exists and equality remains just out of grasp. Data was collected from archives, surveys, interviews, and published reports.
