It was hypothesized that this would increase their experience of and expression of gratitude. The program highlighted the benefits of gratitude and practices that would increase gratitude with the group for twelve weeks. The participants filled out a pre and posttest and answered eight qualitative questions. This author developed a six week program to assist in encouraging clergy and their parishioners in broaching this very important topic.  The author utilized narrative, pastoral, and relational theologies to support her research. Also the use of qualitative research was utilized in the form of personal interviews, focus group participation, observation, and the building of a sand tray that depicted the image of afterlife.  This author found that an inadequate response by clergy was founded.  Participants expressed very little education from the church on this topic. It was illustrated that the Marriage CORE program is an excellent marital enrichment Christian program. Among its twenty-four lessons, these seven core virtues are integrated with four Marriage CORE principles, namely, Connection, Oneness, Restoration and Empowerment. The motivation force is attributed to a heart filled with three kinds of love, namely, covenant love, courageous love and sacrificial love. From rhetorical, theological, and ontological perspectives, Auctor adopted Exod 3:14 in his thesis statement (Heb 1:1-4) to be the most significant ontological signpost in his hermeneutic. The crux is that the name of God (i.e., YHWH) is revealed. Ontologically speaking, 'God speaks' is neither an Old Testament historical phenomenon, nor a Christ-event, but rather it is 'YHWH speaks' who timelessly and unchangeably reveals the reality of his Being and Word. Using a quantitative approach, data was accumulated after twelve weeks of instruction and application of the Bible reading method with the goal of hearing God.
