Using comparative theology method and ethnography, traditional Hmong culture and Roman Catholic dialogues within cosmology, anthropology, rituals, symbols, and culture calues to find connections, disconnections and lacunae within the Roman Catholic tradition, allowing for an expanded understanding withing Catholic theology and worship. A small Wesleyan congregation in Ontario was taken on a journey from tacit to intentional Trinitarianism by emphasizing the Trinity in sermons, sacraments, study, worship, and mission. Resources included Natural Church Development's Three Colors of Ministry and Color Your World, Trinitarian liturgical material, and a self-developed small group curriculum. The project curriculum was designed for the participants to identify root causes of woundedness, enhance their grandparenting skills, explore how they view themselves in their relationship with God and experience some measure of inner healing.  The most prominent results were how our increased awareness of our relationship with God affects our self-image.  Additionally intergenerational wounds affect parenting skillsandchild bonding. Additional participatory action research cycles involved one-to-one mentoring, group coaching and team learning sessions in order to facilitate behavioural change. In order to evaluate the preaching manual, a program development and evaluation model of research was used. Surveys administered before and after reading the preaching manual found, with confidence, affirmation of two of the five hypotheses, which were reflected by the principles in the preaching manual. The hypotheses areas included: 1. Exposition, 2. Variety, 3. Clarity, 4. Frequency, and 5. Practicality. Six individuals and the researcher used the methodology of action research to collect and analyze the data. The data were gathered through written journal logs and group interviews. This study showed that hospitality is an inclusive practice. Secondly, there are four reasons why we should practice hospitality: hospitality creates a space for evangelism, is worship, is a spiritual dynamic, and is a practice that needs to be recovered. After the Council, a new phenomenon emerged of paid ministerial positions. The US bishops developed a theological framework for this phenomenon and named it lay ecclesial ministry. This project examines the developing theological understanding of lay ecclesial ministry, with focus on the human resource issues that surfaced with the emergence of the role of pastoral associate. Twelve volunteers from the 2 Airport Drive Seventh-day Adventist participated in a fleeing-simulation through which they spent two to four days in the North Maine Woods living totally off the grid. Collected data including completed pre-and-past simulation questionnaires, written reports, and an audio-visual documentary made by participants and then shared with the whole congregation.
