This project included four primary tasks. First, the project began with a defined demographics study of the population surrounding the community of Hornbeck, Louisiana, and an internal institutional analysis of First Baptist Church, Hornbeck, Louisiana. The analysis of the resulting data provided an assessment of the Church revitalization potential for First Baptist Church, Hornbeck, Louisiana. Second, the project director researched effective church revitalization strategies and formulated a report of the best practices foe church revitalization. Third, the project director assembled a selected group of members of First Baptist Church, Hornbeck, Louisiana into a revitalization strategy team and equipped them to develop a strategy to aid in the revitalization of First Baptist Church, Hornbeck, Louisiana. The design of the project included the administration of a pre and post-testt questionnaire in a retreat focused group study, along with city and rural church facility tour by the participants. The most prominent goal was the participants increased their practice of unity. The project director utilized various methodologies of instruction such as the 'Think-Pair-Share Strategy', a signed civenant/commitment card, and role-play so that the participants would achieve optimal learning. Experts in the field of instruction and deacon ministry provided evaluation to the project director in order to ensure completion of the stated project and professional goals. The result of the discovery was that the Church of God clergy have an overall compliance factor of 6.03 in their general adherence to the Practical Commitments. Many evangelical churches struggle to integrate fuller expressions of creativity and art into their worship spaces and services. The study utilized a qualitative design using semi-structured interviews with seven liturgical artists. It also surveyed literature from biblical material, art history, liturgical aesthetics, and creativity. The study employed qualitative research methods and used a semi-structured protocol to interview six demographically diverse pastors. Spiritual formation consists of stringent spiritual disciplines and a required development of godly character within preachers. The propositions assumed positive impact on sustainability (proximity to an undergraduate Bible college; the presence of local faculty-staff for recruitment, retention, and liaising with the home campus; and educational offerings responsive to student needs). The research confirmed some propositions and revised others.
