The author led a process of engagement with four churches to support the new church with their gifts, four with their presence and prayer, and four with their service and witness. While conducting a series of meetings with clergy and denominational leaders, the idea of building a collaborative network of United Methodist Churches that can be the foundation and support of a new church wasn't totally possible. God instills human beings with laughter, gives a sense of humor for salvation, and gifts believers with Easter laughter. Sacramental groups comprised of clergy from various education and ordination levels were developed to build community using a Eucharistic ritual template to improve clergy effectiveness and wholeness, increase connectionalism, reduce clergy isolation, and offer support needed to effectively minister to the changing communities within the district. Clergy gathered monthly around a meal, celebrated Holy Communion, and the sharing of ideas and best practices. So long life is not a blessing any more. Rather it becomes a cause of suffering to a lot of the aged. In this sense, aging is not received positively. Among various problems in aging society, this thesis dealt with how to overcome the aged's alienation which was brought about by the loss of their roles in society and even in the church. And this thesis conducted a project to help them to recover their self confidence. This project conducted by recruiting 20 people among the aged who participated in the seminar for the aged, 'Beautiful Life.' They were composed of 10 men and 10 women. The project was planed of the service education for four weeks and the service practice for two weeks. And to see how they changed between before and after the project, this thesis surveyed them by several questions. Analyzing the survey, we could find that service was a good way to overcome the aged's alienation by the loss of their roles. From the readings and documents, readers will gain a sense of the relevancy of Friendship to the community, city, and world. These glimpses are a means of passing along the history and future hopes to both the young and the seasoned members of the church.
